Drop your bags and soak up the sand and surf only steps away from your room. If you're a first-timer, you'll soon realize why we love it here. If you're a returning guest – you already know! The Pearl is a come-as-you-are kind of place and we like it that way. Below is some information to help make your time with us more enjoyable.

How to Reserve a Room/ Make Changes to your Reservation

Reservations can be made on our website PearlBeachInn.com or by calling our office at (941) 473-2361. 
Reservation dates are not guaranteed until a 30% deposit is paid for each date, and a confirmation email is sent to you. 


If you would like to change your reservation, you may do so by calling our office at (941) 473-2361 during normal business hours. 

If you add dates to your reservation, an additional deposit payment will be required to confirm the change and a new confirmation email will be sent to you.
CHANGES ARE NOT FINAL UNTIL YOU RECEIVE A NEW CONFIRMATION EMAIL. 
The remaining balance of your reservation will be due at check-in. 
 

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Reservation Deposit:
All reservations are subject to a 30% deposit. A deposit guarantees we will hold the room reserved and that you will take the room for the entire period booked, rain or shine (or red tide).

Cancellation Policy:
The Pearl Beach Inn requires 14 days' notice of cancellation in order to be fully refunded your deposit.  Any cancellation or change made in the 13-day window prior to arrival will result in forfeit of your deposit. If you arrive after your scheduled check-in date, or decide to depart before your scheduled check-out date, you will not receive a partial or full refund for the unused nights at the property.  Reservations cancelled same day of arrival, and no shows will result in a 100% charge of the total stay.  You are responsible for the number of nights reserved.

“Change” includes moving the reservation to a later date. Please understand we have reserved your room for you, and if you make a change (or cancel) we may not be able to fill the room.  

 

Only registered guests may use the property, including the beach.

We care about your safety and your use and enjoyment of our beach and common spaces.  That is why we limit the use of our property to our registered guests. We understand you may wish to share the beach with a friend who lives nearby, but there is only so much room here at the Pearl, and we want all our guests to enjoy the privacy and serenity of our Gulf-front beach, and our other common areas. We reserve the right to charge additional fees for unregistered guests.

How many adults are allowed per room?

All room rates, except for Atlantis, are for a maximum of 2 adults only. There is an additional fee of $50 per adult per night if you exceed 2 adults.

Parking is for registered guests only.

Parking is for registered guests only. Each room is permitted ONE parking space. Parking for boats, trailers, over-sized vehicles, and RV's is NOT available.

Do you provide beach chairs?

There is a stack of Adirondack under the sunset deck for you to use on the beach. We also have a beach "Treasure Chest" located directly next to our office filled with sifters, umbrellas, beach chairs, toys, etc. for you to use during your stay!

Do you have free wifi?

Yes, The Pearl Beach Inn provides free Wi-Fi in all guest rooms.
While we have upgraded our Wi-Fi, we cannot guarantee the Wi-Fi will be accessible in all rooms, at all times, without interruption because Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate with our modern-day pace.

Cooking in the Room.

Several rooms are equipped with small stovetops for cooking. Those that do not have stovetops have induction plates.  These can be used like an electric stovetop to cook in your room with the cookware provided.

Grilling.

We have 3 grills on property; 1 on the Sunset Deck, 1 on the Garden Patio, and one by the Banyan Tree outside of the Atlantis Suite. While some grills may be situated close to particular rooms they are intended for use by all guests – regardless of room location Charcoal, lighter fluid, and a lighter are located in the bin next to each grill. 

Do you allow smoking on your property?

Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms, or in our common areas – such as the Sunset Deck, or the Garden Patio (outside of the Office).   Smoking is, however, permitted outside of your room on your own personal patio with your room door closed.  We ask that you please be respectful of other guests' air space and please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground outside your room or anywhere around the property.
A $250 cleaning fee will automatically be applied to your credit card if this policy is violated.

What is your pet policy?

We love our furry family members, which is why pets are permitted in certain rooms with prior approval.  Pets that are 30 lbs or less are welcome in the following rooms ONLY: 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, & 9 (maximum of 2 pets per room) for an extra pet fee of $30 per night.

You will automatically be charged $250 to the card on file if you violate this policy. 

We only allow pets in certain rooms so we can accommodate guests with allergies. For this reason, if you book a non-pet friendly room and bring a pet, we reserve the right to move your room or not we may not be able to accommodate you.

Starfish (Room 1), Sand Dollar (Room 2), Seashell (Room 3), Dolphin (Room 6), Seahorse (Room 7), Manatee (Room 8), Banyan (Room 9)

Noise Ordinance.

Sarasota County has a strictly enforced noise ordinance between the hours of 9:00 pm and 8:00 am. Of course, be courteous to your neighbors at all times.

Check-Out Process.

Please stop by the office before 10 am for checkout on your day of departure. We do our best to accommodate late checkout requests, but we cannot always oblige. In addition, if you would like to use our beach after checkout, we have do not have a public restroom, and your car must be moved out of the parking lot before 3pm. If you are departing before the office opens, please open the curtains in your room so we know you left.                                                                                                         
 

Lost Keys.

If you misplace your key after hours, please call the “after hours” number, and you will be given directions for gaining access to your room.  If you are staying in a room with a keypad door handle, you will be told your code at the time of check-in.  A fee of $25.00 will be applied for any lost/unreturned keys.

Red Tide.

We cannot control what Mother Nature throws our way. Sometimes, “red tide” decides to show up in our waters to varying degrees depending on the day/weather. While your ability to swim in the Gulf may be impacted – you can always head inland to experience all that Englewood has to offer. Please see the attached list of things to do in the area! Per our policy, we do not refund rates for days impacted by red tide.
