Easy BBQ Recipes for Vacation Grilling

Your room is only a few steps away from the beach and 3 grills at the Pearl Beach Inn! There's nothing better than a tasty BBQ dinner on our Sunset Deck with the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico! Here are some delicious recipes if you want to do some grilling during your stay with us!

Gulf Shrimp

You'll Need: 

Local Gulf Shrimp (.5 lbs/person)
Butter
Garlic Powder
Old Bay Seasoning
Beer (Optional)
Lime Juice (Optional)
Tin Foil

 
  • Create a tin foil "boat" that will fit in the BBQ grill. Make sure the edges are high enough to hold any liquid.
  • Peel and devein the shrimp. Place the shrimp on the tin foil "boat" until you have all of them on the tin foil.
  • Add slices of butter, garlic powder & Old Bay Seasoning to the shrimp in the "boat" and put the "boat" on the grill.
  • Add beer or lime juice for flavoring before turning the grill on. (Optional)
  • Turn the grill on and set to 350 degrees.
  • Give the shrimp about 5-7 minutes on each side, flip over halfway through the process to cook both sides.
  • Turn off the grill and remove the "boat" from it.
  • Enjoy delicious local Gulf shrimp! Great with potatoes and vegetables you can also cook on the grill!

Florida Beef Burgers

You'll Need: 

Florida Beef
Seasoned Bread Crumbs
Worcestershire Sauce
Burger Buns
Condiments (Optional)

 
  • Get local Florida beef and defrost before making burger patties.
  • To make the patties mix in a small amount of seasoned bread crumbs and a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
  • Turn on the grill and set to 400 degrees.
  • Make the burger patties & lightly salt them.
  • Place burger patties on grill once it gets to 400 degrees.
  • Give burgers 4 minutes on each side, flipping in the middle.
  • Turn off the grill.
  • Remove the burgers carefully and place them on the buns for eating!

BBQ Ribs

You'll Need:

Rack of Ribs
Dry Rub
Apple Cider Vinegar
BBQ Sauces of Your Choosing
Tin Foil

 
  • Defrost the rack of ribs before grilling.
  • Make a tin foil "boat" for the ribs that has tall edges so liquid stays with the ribs.
  • Add your dry rub spices to the rack of ribs in the "boat" before putting on grill.
  • Turn on the grill to 250 degrees.
  • Cook at 250 degrees for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours open the grill and generously apply apple cider vinegar to the rack of ribs.
  • Cover the "boat" with another layer of tin foil to keep all moisture and juices in.
  • Cook at 250 degrees for 1.5 hours.
  • After those 1.5 hours open the grill and take off the top layer of tin foil. Apply BBQ sauces of your choice to the ribs.
  • Leave the top tin foil off and cook at 250 degrees for an hour.
  • After those nearly 5 hours of cooking your ribs will be fall off the bone good and delicious!
